Parental & Guardian Consent

As our services are exclusively for children and young people under the age of 18, the following applies:

  • All enquiries, bookings, and communications regarding a child’s therapy must be made by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required before any assessment or therapy sessions take place.
  • Where a young person is aged 16 or 17 and has the capacity to consent independently, we may accept their consent in line with applicable law; however, we still encourage parental or guardian involvement wherever appropriate.
  • We reserve the right to request proof of parental or legal guardian status where this is not clear.
  • Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting us directly.
